Darn !! got blasted this morning after my presentation. Sigh....... life as a doctor sure sucks. Also had plenty problems with the boy who needed dialysis. The blardy catheter just plain refused to work, no matter how we coaxed it to. So off to OT for a surgical placement of the catheter. As much as I whine and gripe, I love this job. You get to play with babies and kids in your line of work. Parents are so very grateful to you once you manage to treat their children well. It is also very rewarding to see children who were very ill, on the verge of death, bounce back and make an amazing recovery. Of course, the opposite holds true, especially when you see children who have some sort of terminal illness just wasting away despite all that you can do.
