This has been a bad week for me. First of all, I failed my exams through my own stupidity and timidity. Sigh............ Then worse of all, I got scolded for no reason today by consultant. Double sigh......... The stars must be against me this whole month. Hopefully, things will get better soon or I may suffer a nervous breakdown.

There was a break in the cloudy skies though. The Health Ministry announced an increase in the doctors' on-call allowance. Yahooo !!!!!! However, I feel that the increase for housemen are a bit too much. They have no responsibility except to inform the medical officers' of ill cases and most of them don't really need to work that hard anyway. I was a houseman in one of the busiest hospitals in Malaysia and I should know. All of us need the increase in our allowances but the quantum for the housemen are just too much. Anyway, thanks to the MMA for fighting for our rights and the Health Minister and the Cabinet for agreeing to the increase. Syabas !!
